Tempo is Israel's longest established producer of beverages. The company manufactures, imports, markets and distributes its products throughout Israel focusing on two product lines - alcoholic beverages - consisting of beer, wines, spirits and ready made cocktails and soft beverages - carbonated drinks, juices, bottled water, energy drinks and malt beer.

The company has a rich brand portfolio providing a wide range of solutions to customer demand supported by many years of accumulated expertise and experience in brand management and brand marketing of beverages. The company's major brands of alcoholic beverages are very popular and enjoy a good reputation in Israel.

The company's principle alcoholic brands include Goldstar, Maccabi, Heineken, Paulaner, Murphy's, Samuel Adams and Bacardi Breezer. The leading wine and spirits brands distributed by Tempo include Barkan and Segal, Martini, a variety of liqueurs, Keglevitch vodka and Stock 84. In addition the company's subsidiary distributes mineral water under the San Pelegrino label. Tempo's major soft drinks line includes Pepsi Max, Pepsi, Seven-Up, Miranda, Nesher Malt, Malt Star, Jump, Tempri, Aqua Nova, San Benedetto and Cider HaGalil.

The company has more than 10,000 customers throughout the country including supermarket chains, minimarkets, groceries, private supermarkets, delicatessens, private food chains, hotels and guest houses, nightclubs and discotheques, fast food restaurants, cafes, kiosks, bakeries, petrol stations, caterers, event halls, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.

Since 1992 Tempo has enjoyed exclusive distribution and marketing rights throughout Israel for Heineken beer (excluding duty-free shops).  The company has been granted the right to use the Heineken brand name and to manufacture this lager at its production plant in Netanya and to market and distribute it under the Heineken label.

In 2006 Tempo reached an agreement with Pepsico for the acquisition of Pepsi concentrate from which it manufactures the various versions of Pepsi for distribution in Israel under the Pepsico label.

The company operates under standard ISO 2000-9001 as determined by the Institute for Quality Control. This standard requires that all production processes, from acquisition of the raw materials until delivery to the customer, be controlled and documented.

As of the end of 2008 Tempo employed a workforce of 950 employees.

Kor Az supplied design and supervision services for the refrigeration system at the beer factory in Netanya including among others   ammonia and glycol systems.

Kor Az  was a partner in the design, supervision and implementation of upgrading the systems together with Heineken International.

It is now   one of the most advanced ammonia/glycol refrigeration systems in the world using ammonia/glycol for refrigeration and stocking glycol. The use of glycol   saves in energy costs and assures a constant production temperature in all work conditions.
