Berman's Bakery in Jerusalem is the oldest and most advanced bakery in Israel and the second largest in the country. It was founded 130 years ago and supplies bread and baked good to about 2,000 stores, institutions, supermarket chains in Jerusalem and around the country - from Nahariya and Acre in the north to Beer Sheva in the south.

The bakery is spread over an area of about 10,000 sq. meters in the Givat Shaul Industrial Zone in Jerusalem.

Berman's Bakery is a selected brand, specializing in a wide range of breads, rolls, special and low-calorie breads, challahs and an impressive array of cakes.

In 2001, Berman's acquired the Vadash Bakery in Ramat HaSharon and the Lechem HaAretz Bakery, a bakery specializing in health bread and special cookies, and in doing so became the second largest bakery in the country.

Today Berman's Bakery has more than 400 employees working in three shifts to supply the demand of 2,000 customers all over the country - from Nahariya and Acre in the north to Beer Sheva in the south. It has 60 trucks equipped with crates specially installed to transport the baked goods. Berman's Bakery is one of the leading bakeries in Israel, in quantity, in means of production and in products. Berman's integrates advanced, modern technologies in its automated, computerized production lines which produce 3,000 loaves an hour  without the touch of a human hand, starting with the flour, the mixing and sorting of the baking ingredients, the kneading, processing, shaping, rising, baking, cooling,  disposition, packing and loading.  The bakery is ISO-9002 certified which assures procedures for quality control in the plant.

Our firm Kor Az Ltd. supplies the planning, consultation and supervision for all cooling, ventilation, air conditioning and freezing systems in the bakery.
